A key focus is the identification of risk and resilience factors within an individual\u2019s environment\u2014referred to as the \u201cexposome.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We analyse:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">environmental factors, such as air pollution, noise, and urban living conditions using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">everyday environments in real time through Geographic Ecological Momentary Assessment (GEMA)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">individual factors, such as migration background, adverse childhood experiences, stress, emotional well-being, and cognitive functioning<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From these data, we generate individual exposome profiles and link them with multi-modal imaging data to better understand how environmental factors contribute to the development of mental disorders.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ECYM investigates how environmental and social factors influence mental health during youth.
