He is a principal investigator in the German Center for Mental Health (DZPG) and coordinates the DZPG infrastructure &#8220;Clinical Trials&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>His main interest lies in the neurobiology and treatment of affective and stress-related disorders. Furthermore, he systematically examines the bidirectional association between psychiatric and medical illness.
