Early detection and early intervention of mental disorders in youth in Berlin.

The Einstein Center for Youth Mental Health (ECYM) is an interdisciplinary research center focused on improving early detection, understanding, and treatment of mental disorders in youths aged 12–25. Funded by the Einstein Foundation Berlin for six years, ECYM brings together seven leading Berlin institutions. At its core is a cohort of approx. 1,000 youths with and without risk for disorders such as psychosis, bipolar and borderline personality disorder.
