ECYM
Early detection and early intervention of mental disorders among youth in Berlin.
The Einstein Center for Youth Mental Health (ECYM) is an interdisciplinary research center dedicated to improving early detection, understanding, and treatment of mental disorders in youth aged 12–35. Funded by the Einstein Foundation Berlin for a period of six years, ECYM brings together seven leading institutions across Berlin. At its core is a cohort of approx. 1,000 youths with and without increased risk for disorders such as psychosis, bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder.
