A key objective of ECYM is to identify so-called diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for serious mental disorders.
To this end, we use modern technologies such as:
- structural and functional imaging techniques (fMRI/MRI)
- electrophysiological methods (EEG/OPM-MEG)
- language-based analyses using Natural Language Processing (NLP)
By applying machine learning and deep learning approaches, we integrate multi-modal data to predict clinical trajectories—such as the transition to psychosis or the onset of bipolar disorder.
