Moana is a doctoral student at the Center for Environmental Neuroscience at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. She investigates how the environments people live in — from air pollution and urban deprivation to greenspace and social conditions — are linked to brain structure and mental health, working across large population datasets, twin cohorts, and groups with varying mental health profiles.
