Behind every scientific discovery are people with ideas, curiosity, and a desire to advance knowledge. Our team currently includes 23 early-career researchers who are at the beginning of their scientific careers and are working with great dedication on research projects.
However, young researchers need more than academic supervision alone. Exchange with international colleagues, participation in conferences, targeted training opportunities, and mentoring programmes are essential steps for a successful scientific career.
At present, we lack the financial resources to provide these important support measures on the scale they deserve.
