Mathilde Pöppelmann is a research associate in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, Campus Virchow. Her current research focuses on the identification of biomarkers and circuit mechanisms in adolescent patients with high-risk symptoms of psychosis and bipolar disorder. Her work is based on the use of optically pumped magnetometer magnetoencephalography (OPM-MEG). With a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a subsequent master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, she brings an interdisciplinary perspective to her research.
