Mark van der Gaag is emeritus professor of Clinical Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He is involved mainly in research of the psychological treatment of psychosis and the clinical high-risk state and spans cognitive behavioural treatment of delusions and hallucinations and virtual reality enhanced treatment of paranoia and trauma-focused treatment of PTSD. He also contributed to rehabilitation services. The last two decades he got involved in preventive interventions in adolescents and young adults with subclinical psychotic symptoms.
